17 August 1850 Census for Milford and Mispillion Hundred, Kent County, Delaware: The Hollis household included Lavinia, 32, as head, with no husband indicated, and five children -- James M., 12; Margaret E., 11; William H., 9; Martha J., 7; Caroline, 2. Also in the house are two male white farm hands, Wm Wheeler, 17, and Zila Scott, 20. All were born in Delaware.

Lavinia married Charles Hollis. (Charles Hollis was born about 1817 and died on 1 Mar 1847.)
