General Notes:
Lovingly called Aunt Hes (short for Hester) by everyone who knew her, her circle of friends was a wide one, and for each of whom she had a smile and a kind word of greeting to the last. Wrote poems. To Albert & Lizzie on their July 19, 1899, wedding day, she wrote: "May the God of goodness Forever befriend thee And shine on thy path By the light of His love. May the arm of omnipotence Guard and defend thee 'Till angels shall bear thee In safety above. ------Mother"
Elizabeth married Benjamin Franklin Hayman, son of Jacob Hayman and Mary Melson, on Nov 25, 1869 in home of Isaac H. Parsons by Rev. Alfred A. Fisher. (Benjamin Franklin Hayman was born on Nov 6, 1844 and died on Nov 3, 1908.)
