In a ltr from Wm. E. Lank (89) of Milford to Merle Lank, dated 2-10-1952, he refers to Joe Lank's "great-great-grandfather...named John Lank, the same as my grandfather, and he was called One Eye John Lank, he was a sea captain." Did he mean that he and Joe were related to the same John Lank?
