Soudy and son Ali fled the Iranian Revolution, came to the U. S. with 1st husband, then divorced and met Jim, who had cared for her cat, Mamushi.

Soudabeh married James Thomas Burton Jr., son of James Thomas Burton Sr. and Joan Exarhos. (James Thomas Burton Jr. was born on 19 Dec 1935, died on 9 Jan 2001 and was buried in Veterans Cemetery, Summit, DE.)
