Elizabeth married Nathaniel Parker Spurr, son of John Cooper Spurr and Harriet Parker, on 15 May 1866 in the residence of Banks Winsey, uncle of the bride, by Rev. J. L. Reed, Baptist. (Nathaniel Parker Spurr was born on 16 Dec 1833 in Nictaux, NS, died on 5 Mar 1907 in Aylesford, NS and was buried in Aylesford Cemetery.)
