General Notes: Ray is currently the holder of this Lank line's Bible and was very helpful in the preparation of this report. Born in Paris, France, he came to Canada (Montreal) with his parents 9-1-1942 from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they had lived for eleven years. During Captain Lank's fifty years in aviation (Trans-Canada Air Lines/Air Canada pilot for 35 years) he served in many capacities within the industry (flew over forty different types of aircraft), amassing more than 20,000 flight hours, and recipient of the prestigious Air Canada "Award of Excellence": Council Chairman, then negotiator and a director of the Canadian Airline Pilots Association; Designated Air Carrier Inspector (Check Airman) on DC-8 and L1011 aircraft and retired as the Chief Pilot and Flight Operations Co-ordinator for the airline's 50th anniversary coast to coast flight "Sentimental Journey" in 1986 flying one of the original TCA 1936 re-built Lockheed L-10A twin engine ten passenger aircraft; Director of the Retired Pilots Association; A director of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (WWII); President of the Great War Flying Museum (where he flew the replica SE5A WWI fighter); Chairman of the Collingwood Classic Aircraft Foundation; Chairman of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society; Member of the Flight Technology Advisory Committee at Seneca College; President of the Canadian National Air Show (longest continuous running annual air show in the world); Director of the Ontario Flying Farmers; Founding member of the Mono Mills, Ontario, Lions Club.

Raymond married Constance LeBaron Dibblee on 11 Sep 1948. Constance was born on 30 Oct 1928.

General Notes: Professor Alden G. Lank is the founding Executive Director, former President, Chairman and current Honorary Member of the Executive Board of the Family Business Network and former Board member of the Family Firm Institute (FFI). He served on the faculty of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland (and its predecessors Centre d'Etudes Industrielles and International Management Institute in Geneva, Switzerland) for more than 25 years where he was instrumental in creating the family business area whose purpose is to deliver educational and research programs in the field. He is the IMD Stephan Schmidheiny Professor of Family Enterprises Emeritus and Professor of Organizational Behavior Emeritus. His areas of special interest are change management, governance, corporate and family culture, communication, motivation, team building and leading the family firm. // Professor Lank, who holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Middlebury College, Vermont along with the certificate in international business from the Centre d'Etudes Industrielles and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School, is on the editorial boards of the Family Business Review and the Journal of Managerial Psychology. He has served on the Board of several private and public organizations in Europe and North America. Professor Lank has keynoted many international conferences and taught on numerous educational seminars and programs around the world. He received the Joseph Vago Cross-Cultural Award from FFI in 1997 and in 2001 he was elected a Fellow of FFI. In 2002, he was elected Honorary Fellow of the International Family Enterprise Research Academy and in 2003 he was elected Fellow of the Business Families Foundation.

General Notes: David Lank, B.A., C.M., F.R.S.A. " He received his degree from Princeton University (AB '60), and formerly was an adjunct professor at Concordia University in Art History. Mr. Lank is a Past president of the McGill Associates, ex-governor of Lower Canada College and Bishop's University, and chairman of the Friends of the Library of Concordia University. He has been directly or indirectly involved in raising tens of millions of dollars for educational and cultural purposes, both as a donor and as a solicitor in the United States and Canada. Author of more than 30 books, hundreds of articles and museum catalogues, he was the curator of the touring exhibition Audubon's Wilderness Palette - The Birds of Canada. In 1996 he was awarded the Order of Canada. He is also a member of the Fine Arts Advisory Board, past chair of the McCord Museum of Canadian History, and director of numerous cultural institutions. On top of that, he is a Fellow of the Explorer's Club of New York, the Royal Society of Arts in London, formerly a Fellow of the Grolier Club, the American Antiquarian Society and the Angler's Club. He was Chairman of the Atlantic Salmon Association for 10 years and was recently inducted into the Atlantic Salmon Hall of Fame. Lank, Professor of Venture Capital & Entrepreneurship at the Dobson Centre at McGill University is a retired senior partner of Canada's oldest investment counsel firm.
